STEP 11 - MENSTRUAL DISCOMFORT

Chances are, at some point many of you have been faced with MENSTRUAL DISCOMFORT due to hormonal changes in your body.

And whether it’s physical discomfort or emotional discontent, it’s nothing to joke about. For some, these hormonal fluctuations can be significant enough to make them unable to function normally for a day or more.

Eating a balanced diet, drinking an adequate amount of fluids, exercising, and getting enough rest can help assist in making these changes more comfortable.

But what if you are already doing those things and still need a little more support?
 
Here are a few things you can have at the ready to help support you during the roller coaster changes.
 
CALM COOL AND COLLECTED DIFFUSER BLEND RECIPE

• 3 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil
• 2 drops Lavender Essential Oil
• 2 drops Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
• 2 drops Geranium Essential Oil
• 2 drops Bergamot Essential Oil

CRAMPS BE GONE ROLLER BLEND RECIPE

• 2 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
• 2 drops Turmeric Essential Oil
• 2 drops Copaiba Essential Oil
• 2 drops Marjoram Essential Oil
• 2 drops Roman Chamomile Essential Oil
• 2 drops Peppermint Essential Oil

Combine Essential Oils in a 10ml roller bottle and top off with Fractionated Coconut Oil or Carrier Oil of choice. Shake well before each use. To use: apply to lower abdomen, lower back, or other areas of discomfort.

SOAK AND SOOTHE BATH SALT RECIPE

• 3 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

• 3 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil
• 3 drops Geranium Essential Oil
• 3 drops Marjoram Essential Oil

• 2 tbsp. Fractionated Coconut Oil or light Carrier Oil of choice
• 1 c. Epsom Salt
 
Add Epsom Salt while running your bath, swirling to incorporate Salts throughout. Add Essential Oils to bath water and swirl again to ensure they are distributed. Soak for at least 20 minutes and rinse off with cool water before toweling dry.
